Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar acquired 1.8 lakh shares by investing Rs 3.6 crore in Hyderabad based solar firm Suntek Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd.,( Truzon).

The company operating under the brand Truzon Solar, has announced a strategic investment and long-term partnership with Tendulkar, global sporting icon, and philanthropist.

The partnership marks a significant milestone in Truzon Solar’s growth journey and strengthens its ambition to become one of India’s top three solar EPC companies by 2030.

The association with Tendulkar is expected to enhance brand credibility and accelerate the company’s transformation into a national clean energy platform, the company said in a release here on Wednesday.

The strategic investment will support Truzon Solar’s next phase of expansion, focusing on scaling execution capabilities, strengthening operational infrastructure, and deepening delivery across the solar value chain.

The company currently has a strong presence in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Karnataka, and plans to expand aggressively into Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, and Kerala.
