Agri Stack Drive: Bihar Chief Secretary Sets Jan 21 Deadline, Pushes Districts to Achieve 50% Farmer Registration

An important meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary of Bihar, Shri Pratyaya Amrit, to review the progress of the 'Agri Stack' and Farmer Registry Campaign. During the meeting, the Chief Secretary reviewed the current status of the campaign and directed officials to work in a mission mode.

The Chief Secretary directed that the ongoing special campaign for farmer registration will be conducted until January 21, 2026. He clearly instructed all District Magistrates to achieve at least 50 percent of the target within this extended period. He stated that both data accuracy and speed are essential for the success of this project.

During the review, the Chief Secretary particularly praised the excellent work being done by some districts in the state. He commended the work style adopted by the District Magistrates of Sheohar, Begusarai, Vaishali, Buxar, and Katihar districts and said that other districts should also take inspiration from this and improve their performance.
