Bharat Parv - 2026 - A glimpse of Bharat’s rich Cultural Grandeur!

The Red Fort of Delhi unveils the six-day National Cultural Festival - Bharat Parv - 2026! The Festival organized every year as a part of the Republic Day Celebrations by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India is an effort to showcase the rich Cultural Grandeur the Country - Bharat inherits in it.

Inaugurating the six-day long National Cultural extravaganza, the Chief Guest of the occasion, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Shri Om Birla acclaimed “Bharat Parv” as a celebration of Bharat’s multifaceted soul. He also applauded the collective dedication of all the participating artists, artisans, States and Institutions that has made the Bharat Parv a successful and memorable one initiative of the Government of India.

Shri Birla regarded the Festival as a tribute to the relentless and hard-working artists hailing from all the length and breadth of the Country who are taking forward the Country’s Centuries old traditions. He also underlined the incredible contributions of the Country’s Anna Data - Farmers who produce sustainable lives and the artisans for keeping the Country’s age-old traditions and customs alive.


The Hon’ble Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat outlined the Bharat Parv Festival as a perfect single platform to display Bharat’s rich folk and cultural Mosaic all at one place only.

Shri Shekhawat also asserted on the highest importance being given to the Country’s rich age-old traditions, folk arts and other cultural practices by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. These are indeed important as they form the roots of the national spirit and the foundation for the Country’s all inclusive development.

The Inaugural Session also marked the presence of the Secretary Tourism, Shri Suman Billa along with dignitaries, artists and representatives from States, Union Territories and Central Ministries.

The display of 41 Republic Day Tableaux alongwith 48 cultural performances by State / Union Territories Troupes, North Zonal Cultural Centre, Sangeet Natak Akademi and other renowned artists coupled with 22 performances by Armed Forces and Paramilitary Bands will all add-up to illuminate the Bharat Parv Mahotsav.

A long kist of other attractions like grand food court with 60 Stalls featuring Cuisines from across India and live cooking demonstrations, 102 Handicrafts and Handloom Stalls by States, Central Ministries, D.C. - Handicrafts, D.C. - Handlooms and TRIFED alongwith 34 State Tourism Pavilions and 24 Central Ministry Stalls will provide a perfect opportunity for the visitors to dive deep into the ocean to know their Country - Bharat well!

The Festival will be open for Public from 26TH January to 31ST January - 2026 from 12 P.M. to 9 P.M. (except from 5 P.M. to 9 P.M. on 26TH January - 2026 being the Republic Day).
