Department of Information and Public Relations Bids Farewell to Retiring Officials
A ceremonial send-off honors Additional Secretary Sanjay Krishna, Information Clerk Ramesh Kumar Gupta, and Office Peon Umesh Prasad for their dedicated service.
Today, on 31st January, 2025, the Department of Information and Public Relations gave a ceremonial farewell to the retired Additional Secretary, Shri Sanjay Krishna, Information Clerk, Shri Ramesh Kumar Gupta and Office Peon, Shri Umesh Prasad. It is noteworthy that Office Peon Shri Umesh Prasad was working under the Department of Information and Public Relations since 2019, Shri Ramesh Kumar Gupta, who became Information Clerk from Office Peon, since 1990 and Additional Secretary Shri Sanjay Krishna since 2017.
On this occasion, Shri Umesh Prasad expressed his gratitude to the department in his own words and Shri Ramesh Kumar Gupta also expressed his gratitude. Further, Shri Sanjay Krishna briefly shed light on his nearly 28 years of government service. He told that from the year 2017, he traveled from Deputy Secretary to Additional Secretary in the Department of Information and Public Relations, where he got full support from the department. Shri Arun Kumar, Assistant Branch Officer and Shri Alok Kumar, Branch Officer expressed their views. Further, Deputy Director (Contracts) Shri Sunil Kumar Pathak praised the ability of Shri Sanjay Krishna through a letter of felicitation.
On this occasion, Special Officer Shri Kumaril Satyanandan, Internal Financial Advisor Shri Rizwan Ahmed, Joint Director Shri Ravi Bhushan Sahay and Joint Secretary Shri Vidhu Bhushan Chaudhary in their own words praised the dedication of Shri Sanjay Krishna, who is endowed with efficient administrative capability, and the two other employees.
During the ceremony, Director Shri Vaibhav Srivastava wished the three employees good health and happiness for their future life. The Director praised the ability, gentleness and physical fitness of Shri Sanjay Krishna.
During the ceremony, the three employees were honored by presenting flower pots, garlands, shawls and gifts as per traditional practice. All the employees of the department were present during this time. The ceremony was conducted by Deputy Director Dr. Neena Jha.
