Nitin Naveen was in charge of the Road Construction Department and the Urban Development and Housing Department in the Bihar government. Both these departments are directly related to the state's infrastructure and urban development. Nitin Naveen was known as an active and efficient minister at both the government and organizational levels. Several important projects were completed under his leadership, strengthening urban and rural development.

According to party sources, after being given the responsibility of National Working President, Nitin Naveen wants to focus entirely on organizational work. This is why he decided to resign from his ministerial post. This is being seen as a reflection of the BJP's 'one person, one responsibility' policy.
