Passport Mobile Van Camp Held at St. Michael High School, Patna to Expand Passport Access
Regional Passport Office conducts 15th outreach camp under ‘Passport Seva – Passport at Your Doorstep’; nearly 1,800 applicants benefited across Bihar.
The Regional Passport Office, Patna organized a one-day Passport Mobile Van Camp at St. Michael High School, Patna on 10th March 2026 under the Ministry of External Affairs’ citizen-centric initiative “Passport Seva – Passport at Your Doorstep.”
2. The special passport camp was organized to facilitate passport services for students, faculty members, and applicants from various educational institutions located in and around the area. The camp was jointly inaugurated by Father Christu, Principal of St. Michael’s High School and Smt. Swadha Rizvi, IFS, Regional Passport Officer, Patna.
3. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from applicants, particularly students aspiring for higher education and global career opportunities, highlighting the growing demand for passport services among young aspirants. Through the Passport Mobile Van facility, applicants were able to complete the required passport application formalities including document verification, biometric data capture, and submission of applications at the venue itself.
4. This camp marked the 15th Passport Mobile Van Camp organized by the Regional Passport Office, Patna. With such camps conducted across different districts of Bihar, nearly 1,800 applicants have been facilitated with passport services so far. These outreach initiatives aim to make passport services more accessible and convenient for citizens.
5. Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Swadha Rizvi, Regional Passport Officer, Patna, appreciated the cooperation extended by the administration of St. Michael High School and emphasized that such initiatives help bring passport services closer to citizens, particularly students and young aspirants looking out for international opportunities.
6. The next such camp will be organized in Bhagalpur Engineering College, Bhagalpur from 17-19th march 2026 as part of its ongoing efforts to expand access to passport services and ensure efficient, transparent, and citizen-friendly service delivery.
