During the meeting, he thoroughly reviewed 22 road projects in the New Capital Patna Division and issued several directives. The current status of road construction, signage, guardrails, and markings were reviewed. The status of temporary and permanent encroachments on roads and the progress of their removal/resolution were also reviewed.

In this context, road projects such as the construction of a green area parallel to the boundary wall of the Honorable Minister's residential complex in Gardanibagh and the path on both sides of Bapu Tower, road construction in Patliputra Colony, Vivekananda Marg, strengthening of the road from Khetan Market to Ashok Rajpath, NH-30 to Bhoothnath Link Road, and the construction of a link road (Veterinary College) were reviewed. The status of project targets was evaluated, and the progress of most projects was found to be satisfactory.

The Secretary emphasized the need to pay special attention to road quality standards. The Executive Engineer was directed to conduct regular on-site inspections of roads. He urged that the riding quality be improved to provide greater convenience to the public. He also directed that encroachments be removed from the roads and signage be installed by speaking with the concerned officials. Action will be taken if any complaints are received.

The Secretary expressed concern about damage to roads without a NOC. Roads should not be damaged in any way without a NOC. In this regard, all engineers were strictly instructed not to undertake any work on roads without obtaining a NOC from the department. Reports of such incidents should be submitted immediately. High-level coordination and necessary action will be ensured in cases of road damage.
