Nitin Navin Becomes BJP’s 12th Unopposed National President, Begins Day With Temple Visits
Senior leader Nitin Navin was elected unopposed as the 12th National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcoming him at the party headquarters, as top BJP leadership gathered for the formal swearing-in ceremony in Delhi.
Nitin Navin has become the 12th unopposed national president of the BJP. The announcement was made at the BJP headquarters on Tuesday. PM Modi welcomed him with a garland. Before assuming office, he began his day by visiting religious sites.
Nitin Navin visited the Jhandewalan Temple in Delhi at around 8 a.m. on Tuesday. He then visited the Valmiki Temple, where he offered prayers. He then visited the Hanuman Temple and then paid obeisance at the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara. After visiting the religious sites, he headed straight to the BJP headquarters.
Nitin Navin will formally assume the position of national president at 11:30 a.m. at the BJP's central office. The party's top leadership will be present on the occasion, and it is considered a significant moment for the organization.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, former party president J.P. Nadda, and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, along with several other senior leaders, will attend the swearing-in ceremony. In addition, Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states, Union Ministers, State BJP Presidents, and Organization Ministers will also be present at the event.
According to party sources, under Nitin Nabin's leadership, the BJP will focus on organizational strength, upcoming election strategy, and improved coordination between the government and the organization. There is an atmosphere of excitement among party workers and leaders regarding his appointment as National President.
