Bihar has received the prestigious Religious Tourism Destination of the Year Award. The state won the prestigious "Religious Tourism Destination of the Year" award at the India International Travel Mart 2023 held in Bengaluru.

Mr. Abhay Kumar Singh, Secretary, Bihar Tourism and Mr. Vinay Kumar Rai, Director Tourism Department termed this award as a proud moment for Bihar Tourism. He said that the tourism department is constantly expanding facilities and attractions in tourist places through innovative experiments, as a result of which the state has received this award.

The department will continue to work in the direction of improving our tourist places in the future also so that we continue to gain a place as a better tourism state in the country. The Secretary and Director said that the credit for this goes to the officials and personnel of our tourism department. Congratulating everyone, he has encouraged them for better work in future.
