Petrol-diesel prices today: fuel rates drop in several cities, stable in major metros on February 11

Changes have been seen in the retail prices of petrol and diesel released by government oil companies on Tuesday morning. Oil prices have come down in many cities of the country, while in some places they have increased. The effect of the fall in crude oil prices in the global market is also visible in the domestic market, due to which the prices of petrol and diesel have come down in many states including UP. However, prices remain stable in big metros like Delhi and Mumbai.
According to oil companies, petrol has become cheaper by 39 paise to Rs 94.50 per litter in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, while diesel is available at Rs 87.58 per litter, down by 45 paise. In Patna, the capital of Bihar, petrol has become costlier by 35 paise to Rs 105.58 and diesel has increased by 33 paise to Rs 92.42 per litter. In Gurugram, Haryana, petrol has come down by 24 paise to Rs 94.87 and diesel has come down by 24 paise to Rs 87.73 per litter.
If we talk about crude oil, its prices have seen a slight decline in the last 24 hours. Brent crude has reached $ 74.31 per barrel, while the price of WTI crude has increased to $ 70.60 per barrel.

Petrol and diesel prices change every day at 6 am. The new rates come into effect from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price becomes almost double of the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
