PM Modi Declares Zero Tolerance for Disruption in Parliament – Calls for Constructive Debates

In a prelude to the Budget Session, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi delivered a resolute message, hinting that those engaging in disruptive behavior within the parliament would face consequential actions. Emphasizing the importance of constructive contributions, he stated, "Criticism and opposition are essential in a democracy, but it is those who have enriched the House with constructive ideas that are remembered by a large cross-section."

As the session commenced, Prime Minister Modi underscored the enduring impact of parliamentary debates, declaring, "Every word spoken here will echo in the annals of history." He urged members to contribute positively, adding, "While constructive criticism is welcome, disruptive behavior will fade into obscurity."

Reflecting on the significant decisions made during the first session, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the passage of the Women Empowerment and Adulation Act, calling it a pivotal moment for the nation. He acknowledged the strength, valour, and determination of Nari Shakti celebrated during the Republic Day festivities.

Addressing the esteemed members, he urged introspection among those who have strayed from democratic values, emphasizing the need for parliamentary decorum. With the Budget Session underway, Prime Minister Modi implored all members to prioritize national interests, saying, "Let us strive to deliver our best, enrich the House with our ideas, and infuse the nation with enthusiasm and optimism."

Regarding the upcoming budget, the Prime Minister revealed that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman would present guiding points, adhering to the tradition of not presenting the full budget close to the election time. He concluded with a confident statement, "India's journey of inclusive and comprehensive development will continue, propelled by the blessings of the people." The stage is set for a session focused on constructive debates, leaving a positive imprint on the nation's trajectory.
