Anand Pandit has a net worth of 8,660 crore rupees (around 1 billion dollars), making him one of the wealthiest figures in Bollywood, just behind Ronnie Screwvala, who has 1.5 billion dollars, and Shah Rukh Khan. His wealth exceeds that of some well-known Bollywood personalities like Karan Johar, who has 1,880 crore rupees, and Amitabh Bachchan, with 1,630 crore rupees. While Aditya Chopra did not appear on the Hurun list, other reports estimate his net worth at about 7,500 crore rupees. Salman Khan, one of Bollywood’s richest actors, reportedly has a net worth of less than 3,000 crore rupees, which is much lower than Pandit’s.

Anand Pandit started his journey in the film industry about ten years ago as a film distributor. His first major project was distributing the film Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, and he soon became a producer with Great Grand Masti. Over the years, he has produced films like Satyameva Jayate, The Bigg Bull, Kabzaa, PM Narendra Modi, and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. He has also presented popular South Indian films like Drishyam 2 and 2018 in the northern market. Interestingly, none of the films he produced has crossed the 100 crore rupees net mark at the domestic box office—a common benchmark of success today—though many have done reasonably well.

Despite his film work, Anand Pandit’s main source of wealth is his real estate business. He is the founder of Lotus Developers, a leading developer of luxury real estate in Mumbai.
