‘Dhurandhar 2’ Crosses ₹1,490 Crore Worldwide, Becomes Highest-Grossing Indian Film in North America

Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge continues its extraordinary box office run, entering Day 16 with record-breaking momentum and emerging as one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema history.
Starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has already crossed ₹939.46 crore in India net collections and amassed a massive ₹1,492.17 crore globally. With this, it has surpassed Baahubali 2: The Conclusion to become the highest-grossing Indian film in the North American market.
The film’s performance has remained strong despite the ongoing IPL 2026, which traditionally impacts evening show footfalls. However, strong word-of-mouth and repeat viewership have helped the film sustain high occupancy across theatres.
The box office journey of the film has been marked by consistent growth. It recorded ₹674.17 crore in its first week, followed by an impressive ₹263.15 crore in the second week, defying the usual drop seen after opening weeks. A key milestone came on Day 11, when the film earned ₹68.10 crore in a single day, pushing its cumulative total past ₹846 crore and surpassing the lifetime earnings of its predecessor within just 11 days.
On Day 16, the film continues its steady run with over 6,000 screenings nationwide. According to live estimates, it has earned ₹11.31 crore so far, taking the India net total to ₹949.13 crore, with final numbers still being compiled. The India gross collection has reached ₹1,136.11 crore.
The film follows the story of Jaskirat Singh Rangi, portrayed by Ranveer Singh, who is recruited into intelligence operations and transformed into a deep-cover agent. The ensemble cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and features a cameo by Yami Gautam.
With its strong narrative, large-scale production and sustained audience response, the film continues to set new benchmarks at the box office, with trade analysts closely tracking its march toward the ₹1,000 crore India net milestone.
