Dubai Woman Arrested for Trespassing at Actor Aditya Roy Kapur’s Mumbai Home

A 47-year-old woman from Dubai was arrested on Monday evening for trespassing at actor Aditya Roy Kapur’s Bandra residence. The woman, identified as Gajala Zakaria Siddiqui, reportedly gained entry to the apartment under false pretenses, claiming she had clothes and gifts for the actor.

According to police, Siddiqui arrived at Kapur’s home around 6 p.m. and convinced the actor’s domestic help, Sunita Pawar, to let her in. When Aditya Roy Kapur returned home, he was shocked to find a stranger inside and immediately told Pawar he didn’t know her. As the woman tried to get closer to him, Pawar urged the actor to leave the house. She then informed the house manager, Jayshree Dunkdu, who contacted Kapur’s production manager, Shruti Rao. A formal complaint was soon filed at Khar police station.

Siddiqui later told police that she was a fan of Kapur and had come with the intention of staying with him. Authorities have charged her under Section 331(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for trespassing, and an investigation is underway.

The incident comes just days after two individuals were arrested for trespassing at actor Salman Khan’s building in the same suburb. It also echoes a more serious intrusion in January, when actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed multiple times by an intruder in his Bandra apartment. Saif underwent emergency surgery and was discharged five days later. In April, a chargesheet was filed against the accused, a Bangladeshi national, in connection with that attack.

Aditya Roy Kapur, 39, best known for his role in Aashiqui 2, belongs to a well-known film family—his brother Siddharth Roy Kapur is a film producer and his other brother, Kunal Roy Kapur, is also an actor.
