Kangana Ranaut Turns 40, Celebrates Birthday With PM Modi

Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut marked her 40th birthday on Monday with a visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accompanied by her family including sister Rangoli, describing the meeting as the highlight of a memorable birthday.

Kangana shared pictures from the occasion on Instagram, dressed in an off-white saree with a sleeveless blouse, posing alongside the Prime Minister. "Got time and guidance from the Honourable Prime Minister along with family today. It has been a memorable birthday for me," she wrote in Hindi, with fans flooding the comments section with birthday wishes.

Kangana was last seen in Emergency, released in January 2025, which earned critical appreciation for her performance but struggled at the box office. The actress has since been occupied with her political responsibilities as an MP, but is now set to return to screens with Bharat Bhagya Viddhatha, directed by Manoj Taparia. The film is based on the true story of the nurses and medical staff at Cama and Albless Hospital who displayed remarkable courage during the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Kangana plays one of the nurses in the film, the shooting for which wrapped up in February. A release date is yet to be announced by the makers.
