Karisma Kapoor's Ex-Husband Sanjay Kapur Dies of Heart Attack at 53 During Polo Match in England

Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband and businessman Sanjay Kapoor died of a heart attack at the age of 53. This tragic incident happened during a polo match in England, where he suddenly collapsed while playing. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead. Sanjay Kapoor's sudden demise has caused a wave of mourning in the industry, Bollywood and his family.

Sanjay Kapoor was the CEO of Sixt India and chairman of automotive company Sona Comstar. Recently he was also appointed President of the Northern Region of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He was working on many important objectives like industrial development, empowering MSMEs and promoting startups.

Sanjay Kapoor married Karisma Kapoor on 29 September 2003. The couple has a daughter Samaira and son Kian from this marriage. After a few years of marriage, their relationship soured, due to which they filed for divorce in the year 2014. After which they got divorced in the year 2016. After the divorce, both the children live with Karisma Kapoor. Let us tell you that after the divorce from Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay married Priya Sachdev for the second time.

Interestingly, just a few hours before his death, Sanjay Kapoor shared a post on social media, in which he expressed condolences to the passengers who lost their lives in the Air India plane crash. In this post, he wrote, "Sad news of the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad. My condolences and prayers are with all the affected families. May God give them strength in this difficult time."

His close friend and famous industrialist Suhail Seth also mourned the death of Sanjay Kapoor on Twitter. He wrote, "Deeply saddened by the demise of Sanjay Kapoor. He passed away in England this morning. It is my deepest condolences to his family and colleagues."
