Panchayat Season 4 Trailer: Election Chaos Hits Phulera as Show Gets Early Release Date

The much-awaited Panchayat Season 4 is arriving earlier than expected. Originally slated for a July 2 release, the popular series will now premiere on June 24 on Prime Video, thanks to an overwhelming fan response during a recent voting campaign. The announcement was made alongside the release of the trailer, which offers a lively glimpse into the political drama brewing in Phulera.

In the new season, election fever grips the village, as Manju Devi (Neena Gupta) and Kranti Devi (Sunita Rajwar) go head-to-head in a dramatic battle to become the next pradhan. The trailer showcases a village buzzing with campaign rallies, catchy slogans, big promises, and plenty of hilarious scheming — all wrapped in the series’ trademark blend of humour and heart.

The early release was driven by fans, who cast over 6.5 million votes on a dedicated website, [www.panchayatvoting.com](http://www.panchayatvoting.com), to support their favourite candidate — either Team Manju Devi or Team Kranti Devi. The live vote meter tracked the excitement in real-time and ultimately led to the show's release date being brought forward.

Speaking about the new season, Panchayat creator and writer Chandan Kumar shared, “Writing Panchayat has always been a journey of discovery. Each season builds on the last while bringing in new layers and characters. With Season 4, we’re deepening the narrative while staying true to the emotional essence of Phulera.”

Neena Gupta, who plays Manju Devi, reflected on her character’s evolution: “It’s been amazing to see her grow from a hesitant leader to a strong voice in the village. Season 4 is packed with surprises — it’s bold, fun, and full of twists.”

Jitendra Kumar, who returns as the affable Abhishek, teased that the new season will bring more of Phulera’s warmth, humour, and chaos. The core cast, including Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, and Pankaj Jha, are all back to reprise their beloved roles.

Created by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar, and produced by The Viral Fever, Panchayat continues to explore small-town life with authenticity, wit, and heart. Set in the fictional village of Phulera, Season 4 promises more laughter, heartfelt moments, and a closer look at the quirks of rural politics and everyday life.

Panchayat Season 4 premieres June 24 on Prime Video in India and in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
