Punjabi Singer Rajvir Jawanda Critically Injured in Road Accident Near Baddi

Mohali – Popular Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda, 35, is currently battling for his life after being critically injured in a road accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, on Saturday. According to police and eyewitness accounts, the accident occurred when his motorcycle collided with stray cattle that suddenly came onto the road, causing him to lose control and crash.

Jawanda, a resident of Sector 71, Mohali, was initially rushed to the Civil Hospital. Doctors there reported that he had sustained severe head and spinal injuries. He also went into cardiac arrest shortly after being admitted. Given the seriousness of his condition, he was immediately referred to Fortis Hospital, Mohali, for advanced treatment.

In an official statement, Fortis Hospital confirmed that Jawanda was brought to their emergency unit at 1:45 PM on September 27 in an extremely critical condition. "He had suffered major head and spine trauma, along with cardiac arrest at the previous facility. On arrival, our emergency and neurosurgery teams took over his care, conducted thorough investigations, and placed him on advanced life support. He remains on ventilator support and under close monitoring," the statement read.

Jawanda is widely known for his popular tracks like *Kali Jawande Di*, *Mera Dil*, and *Sardari*, and has also made a mark in Punjabi cinema. A day before the accident, he had shared a video on Instagram promoting his latest song. The singer was also a passionate biker and frequently posted videos of his rides through scenic mountain roads.

News of the accident has sent shockwaves through the Punjabi music industry and among his fans. Fellow artists Kulwinder Billa and Kanwar Grewal were seen visiting him at the hospital, while fans across social media platforms have been expressing their concern and praying for his speedy recovery.

As of now, Rajvir Jawanda remains in critical condition, with doctors closely monitoring his progress.
