Rajinikanth praises Madharaasi, hails Sivakarthikeyan as an ‘action hero’

Sivakarthikeyan is celebrating the success of his latest film, Madharaasi. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the action thriller features Sivakarthikeyan as an action hero. The film has received positive feedback from fans and is doing well at the box office. On Wednesday, Sivakarthikeyan shared that superstar Rajinikanth had watched the film and loved it.
Sivakarthikeyan posted on X, “Just received appreciation for #Madharaasi from my idol, my Thalaivar #Superstar @rajinikanth sir. ‘My god, excellent! What a performance! What action! Super super SK! I liked it a lot. You have become an action hero. God bless, God bless.’ Heartfelt wishes from my Thalaivar, along with his trademark laugh. Love you Thalaivaaaaa ❤️❤️.”
Filmmakers Shankar, Lingusamy, and Anand Shankar also gave positive reviews of the film recently.
Madharaasi stars Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, and Rukmini Vasanth. The story follows Raghu Ram (Sivakarthikeyan), who suffers from Fregoli delusion after a personal tragedy. This causes him to put himself in danger while trying to save others. Prem (Biju Menon) uses Raghu to take down an illegal weapons cartel, while Virat (Vidyut Jammwal) is the antagonist.
This film marks a reunion between Sivakarthikeyan and AR Murugadoss, who previously worked together on the 2014 Tamil film Maan Karate. Murugadoss produced and wrote Madharaasi.
Rajinikanth’s last film was Jailer, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, which underperformed at the box office.
