Ranbir Kapoor Leads Ganpati Visarjan in Mumbai with Neetu Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor took part in Ganpati Visarjan celebrations in Mumbai on Sunday, leading the immersion procession alongside his mother, Neetu Kapoor. The mother-son duo was seen performing the aarti together inside the family pandal, joining devotees in bidding farewell to Lord Ganesha.
In a video shared by a paparazzi account on Instagram, Ranbir is seen wearing a blue kurta as he stands beside Neetu, who wore a white salwar suit. Together, they joined the priests and other devotees in chanting prayers during the aarti.
In another clip, Ranbir is seen carrying the Ganesh idol in his hands, loudly chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya!” as Neetu walked beside him, helping clear the way for the procession.
Fans flooded the comments with praise and devotion, though some were curious about Alia Bhatt’s absence. Ranbir and Alia have been busy filming *Love and War*, their upcoming film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Also starring Vicky Kaushal, the film is set to release on March 20 next year. It marks Ranbir’s second collaboration with Bhansali after his debut in *Saawariya*.
Ranbir is also gearing up for the mythological epic *Ramayana*, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The two-part film stars Ranbir as Ram, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Amitabh Bachchan as Jatayu, and Ravi Dubey as Laxman. With a score by Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman, the film is slated for a Diwali 2026 release.
