Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar Crosses ₹700 Crore Worldwide Despite Second-Week Slowdown

Ranveer Singh’s spy action thriller Dhurandhar continues its remarkable box office run, crossing the Rs 700 crore mark worldwide by the end of its second week despite witnessing its first major slowdown in daily collections.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the high-octane thriller also stars Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt and Rakesh Bedi. The film completed two weeks in theatres with its lowest single-day earnings recorded on the second Thursday following its December 5 release.
The dip came on the second Thursday, coinciding with the impending arrival of James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash.
According to early estimates by Sacnilk, ‘Dhurandhar’ earned around Rs 23 crore net in India on Day 14 across all languages. Despite the slowdown, the film ended its second week on a historic high.
According to Sacnilk, as of Day 14, the worldwide collection of Dhurandhar has crossed the Rs 700 crore mark. With a strong overseas contribution of Rs 150 crore and an India gross of approximately Rs 550 crore, the film is now eyeing the elite Rs 1000 crore club globally.
The Ranveer Singh-starrer collected an estimated Rs 253.5 crore net in its second week alone—the highest-ever second-week collection for a Hindi film.
It also became the first Hindi film to cross Rs 200 crore net in its second week, surpassing the previous record held by ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule.’ Notably, Dhurandhar outperformed its own opening week, which had brought in Rs 207.25 crore net.
On Thursday, December 18, 2025, the film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 32.35 percent. Morning shows began on a slower note at 18.28 percent, with occupancy steadily improving through the day. Evening shows saw attendance rise to 38.08 percent, while night shows peaked at 40.97 percent.
After two weeks, Dhurandhar now stands at approximately Rs 460.25 crore net in India. On the gross front, the film has crossed Rs 550 crore, with India gross collections estimated at Rs 552 crore.
The film entered the Rs 500 crore India gross club on its second Wednesday, achieving the milestone in just 13 days, making it one of the fastest films to do so.
It is now the third Indian film and the second Bollywood film of 2025 to cross Rs 500 crore gross domestically, and the 16th Indian film overall to reach the landmark.
SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ (2015) was the first Indian film to achieve this feat. Since then, eight Bollywood films, four Telugu films, two Kannada films and one Tamil film have crossed the Rs 500 crore India gross mark.
Internationally, ‘Dhurandhar’ has performed strongly as well, earning an estimated Rs 150 crore overseas, taking its worldwide total to around Rs 702 crore by the end of its second week.
Despite facing its first significant dip after maintaining daily collections above Rs 25 crore, trade analysts believe the film remains firmly on track for the Rs 1,000 crore global milestone.
With ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ releasing on Friday and expected to open at around Rs 30 crore in India, largely driven by English-language markets, ‘Dhurandhar,’ as a Hindi release, may continue to hold its ground and potentially add another Rs 100 crore over the weekend.
