Social Media Feud Erupts Between Influencer Orry and Rajiv Adatia Over Disrespect to Music Legends

A heated exchange has unfolded on social media between popular influencer Orhan Awatramani, known as Orry, and Bigg Boss personality Rajiv Adatia. The spat began when Orry made a mocking comment on one of Rajiv’s posts, prompting Rajiv to retaliate with a sharp reply that questioned Orry’s claim to fame.

The feud started after Rajiv accused Orry of disrespecting legendary singers Lata Mangeshkar and Falguni Pathak in one of his reels. Orry had referred to Falguni Pathak as “Falguni peacock singing on stage” and mistakenly called Lata Mangeshkar “Lata Mangeshwari,” dubbing her the “queen of Garba” — comments that didn’t sit well with many.

In response to Rajiv’s criticism, Orry commented under one of Rajiv’s posts, writing, “Why does this man look like he ate 5 Orrys and poured a bottle of cheap foundation and fake tan on his face?”

Rajiv quickly hit back via Instagram Stories with a scathing message. He wrote, “Didn’t want to reply to this idiot, but he needs a reality check! Orry, what have you achieved in life other than putting your hand on people’s chests and taking photos? You won the award for talking s**t, not for hard work.” He went on to criticize Orry’s character, saying, “Integrity, morals, values, and character make you human — all things you lack! Stop acting like you’re so important. Never disrespect a legend’s name, dude! Instead of apologizing, you attack me. Grow up and act your age.” Rajiv also made a witty remark about Orry’s makeup, clarifying the foundation he uses.

Rajiv shared this response publicly with the caption, “Didn’t want to reply to this fool, but he needs a reality check! Sorry for the grammatical errors, I was jogging when I wrote this.”

The incident sparked a wider discussion about respect on social media. Rajiv expressed disappointment, saying, “There’s a fine line between being funny and disrespecting the legends of our country. Lataji was like family to me, and I didn’t find it funny at all. People, especially kids, see social media — we must be mindful of how we portray ourselves.”

Falguni Pathak herself acknowledged Rajiv’s post with a simple “Thank you” in the comments, showing her appreciation for his defense.

This clash highlights the growing tension between social media personalities and celebrities over respect, fame, and the limits of humor.
