Vinit Kumar Singh's brilliance in the first historical film, creates history as Kavi Kalash in 'Chhaava'

Chhaava, a film based on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has hit the theatres. Amidst the strong performances of Vicky Kaushal and Akshay Khanna, another actor has proved his acting prowess in Laxman Utekar's film. The actor is Vineet Kumar Singh.

Known for his roles in Mukkabaaz and Gangs of Wasseypur, Vineet Kumar Singh breathes life into the character of Kavi Kalash in Chhaava. In the film, he is seen in the character of Kavi Kalash, who is both a poet and a warrior. In this character, he has played the role of a close friend of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

Kavi Kalash is a North Indian, but remains loyal to the Maratha Empire and his friend Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in every situation. Despite being from North India, he stands as the most trusted companion of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. His unique style and his closeness to Sambhaji Maharaj are not liked by everyone in the Maratha Empire.

Nevertheless, when the time came, Kavi Kalash upheld the pride and honor of the Maratha Empire, fighting shoulder to shoulder with Sambhaji Maharaj with unwavering loyalty. He could have saved himself if he wanted, but he did not abandon the Maratha Empire, Hindavi Swarajya and his friend Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj till his last breath.

Vineet Kumar Singh's performance in the film is very impressive. When he reads poems, his face reflects gentleness and smile, but during heroic poems, there is a roar in his voice and tremendous anger is visible on his face. He fully immerses himself in the role of Kavi Kalash, making it a memorable performance in his career.

This is Vineet Kumar Singh's first historical film, but after watching it, it does not seem that he has come in such a character for the first time. Even before this, he has been completely immersed in each of his characters, be it Mukkabaaz, Rangbaaz, Gangs of Wasseypur, Ugly, or Bombay Talkies. Every time he appears as a new person and this is his biggest strength.

In the role of Kavi Kalash, Vineet Kumar Singh not only leaves the mark of a great poet, but he also spreads his amazing charm on the battlefield. If Kavi Kalash was shot in slow motion while fighting in the film, then many scenes could have become even more impressive. This would have enhanced the grandeur of his character as well as the dynamic camaraderie between Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Kavi Kalash.

Vineet Kumar Singh has been active in the film industry for the last 18-20 years and gets into a new character every time. Even in 'Chhaava', there is no repetition in his acting; rather, Vineet Kumar Singh leaves his mark in a new and effective way.
