Exclusive | Government’s MSME Journal Turns into a Bundle of Blunders, Tarnishes Prime Minister’s Image

Indian Bureaucracy
In Sleeping Mode !
An Investigative Report by Manjari: The Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME) under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, has published a journal riddled with glaring errors on almost every page. Right from the inside cover page, a huge blunder has been made under the picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi !
The journal is titled MSME Patrika. It is a priced bilingual publication costing ₹100. The editor is Ms. Ashwini Lal, a Senior Indian Economic Service (IES) officer, and the sub editor is Mr. Gaurav Katiyar, Joint Director (Administration).
Incidentally, both are officers of the Indian Economic Service. Under their supervision, the journal carries a caption below the Prime Minister’s picture, stating that the Prime Minister attended an event of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana in September 2025. It is worth noting that September 2025 has not even arrived yet. Then how could the Prime Minister have already attended an event in that month? Sources allege that this was deliberately done to tarnish the image of the Prime Minister and the government.
Indian Bureaucracy ! In Sleeping Mode !
The unique journal was published in June 2025. It contains such shocking mistakes that no one would dare commit even in a dream. Sources further claim that these errors have damaged the image of both the President and the Prime Minister, and the main intent behind this seems to be to defame the NDA government.
The blunder involving the Prime Minister’s photograph has been confirmed, while the alleged mistake involving the President has not yet been verified, and investigation is still underway.
When attempts were made to meet Dr. Rajneesh, Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner, MSME Ministry, to understand the reason behind these errors, his office declined the request for an appointment with him.
Sources say that the office of Cabinet Minister for MSME, Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi, has already been informed of these mistakes in recent days. All facts are being collected in this matter, and in the coming days, strict action against those responsible is expected.
