G20 Summit: Exploring India's Technological Power and Digital Initiatives

During the G20 Summit, guests will be briefed on India's technological prowess. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has set up two state-of-the-art Digital India Experience Zones in Halls 4 and 14 to showcase global digital initiatives.

The exhibition aims to display worldwide digital initiatives, focusing on ease of life, ease of doing business, and governance. During this event, seven major initiatives, including Aadhar, Digital Locker, UPI, e-Sanjeevani, Diksha, Vashini, and Ondici, will be featured.

Visitors will have a unique experience. Aadhar Face Authentication software will provide attendees with the opportunity to experience and interact with cutting-edge technology, while UPI exhibition will enable visitors to explore and discover various UPI applications worldwide. Additionally, attendees can scan QR codes to make purchases and initiate simple transactions.

Guests can also learn about the practical utility of India's DigiLocker, which streamlines processes in areas such as education, finance, banking, travel, transportation, real estate, law, and judiciary.

During this event, e-Sanjeevani will also be showcased, offering online consultations with doctors specializing in cardiology, mental health, ophthalmology, and general medicine.

The Diksha exhibition will provide a deep and informative experience. The Speech exhibition will showcase real-time translation in all Indian languages and six United Nations languages. The "Jugalbandi" Telegram bot will allow attendees to ask questions and converse in their preferred language.

Highlighting Digital India's Journey

The exhibition will highlight Digital India's major achievements since its inception in 2014, bringing progress in the digital space to life. The Digital Tree exhibition will trace the principles of DPI and the development of Digital India's first initiative.

Users can also chat to learn how the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) collaborates with retailers, customers, and network providers on a large scale. Additionally, a G.I.T.E. (Government Instant Text Exchange) application kiosk will provide a platform for attendees to find answers to life's questions through the reiteration of the sacred text, Bhagavad Gita.

The Digital India Experience Zone harnesses cutting-edge technology in various forms, including interactive displays, virtual reality, and much more.

It's important to note that the G20 Summit is scheduled to take place in Delhi from September 8th to 10th. World leaders from around the globe will join with their counterparts and families to participate in this event in India.
