Global Nurse Force and TNAI collaborate to empower Indian nurses

In a significant step toward empowering Indian nurses with global career opportunities, Global Nurse Force, one of the world’s largest international nurse recruitment organizations, has signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI), India’s oldest and largest professional nursing body. The MoU was signed just ahead of International Nurses Day, celebrated globally on 12 May, which honors the dedication and contribution of nurses worldwide.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior representatives from both organizations, including Mr. Paramananda Santra, Chief Business Officer of Global Nurse Force, Mrs. Annie Kumar, National President of TNAI, and Mrs. Evelyn P. Kannan, Secretary-General of TNAI. This strategic partnership aims to support Indian nurses through structured international mobility pathways, training, and placements, using ethical and zero-cost recruitment practices—a shared commitment of both TNAI and Global Nurse Force.

Established in 1908, TNAI represents over 600,000 members and has consistently advocated for the professional advancement and welfare of Indian nurses. Global Nurse Force, founded in 2003, has placed over 30,000 Indian nurses in top hospitals and healthcare systems across the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and other countries. With offices in Kochi, Bangalore, the US, and the UK, Global Nurse Force is dedicated to transparent, zero-cost recruitment practices that promote long-term success for nursing professionals.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Paramananda Santra, CBO of Global Nurse Force, said:“This partnership with TNAI marks a pivotal moment in the global journey of Indian nursing professionals. Our shared goal is to ensure that Indian nurses are recognized, respected, and rewarded on the world stage, without bearing the financial burden of pursuing international careers. Together, we will create a future where skilled Indian nurses reach their full potential.”

Mrs. Annie Kumar, National President of TNAI, stated: “TNAI is proud to join hands with Global Nurse Force in this transformative initiative. Indian nurses are among the most skilled and compassionate in the world, and this partnership will ensure they have access to dignified and ethical international opportunities. We will continue to work for their empowerment and global recognition.”

Mrs. Evelyn P. Kannan, Secretary-General of TNAI, added: “The MoU with Global Nurse Force opens new avenues for the professional growth of our members. TNAI has always advocated for the protection and welfare of Indian nurses, and this collaboration ensures a transparent, zero-cost recruitment model that safeguards their interests while enabling them to shine globally.”

Under the MoU, the two organizations will collaborate to identify and support eligible TNAI members seeking global careers, guide them through credentialing and licensing aligned with international standards, conduct orientation and skill development programs, and promote WHO-compliant ethical recruitment practices. The agreement also includes ongoing professional development and alumni engagement for Indian nurses placed overseas.
