IAF TO PARTICIPATE IN EXERCISE COBRA WARRIOR IN UNITED KINGDOM

Five Tejas fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force will take part in the multinational military exercise to be held in Waddington, UK. According to ANI, five Tejas fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will travel to the United Kingdom to participate in the Cobra Yoddha exercise at Royal Air Force Station Waddington. In which five Tejas fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will take part, while a C-17 aircraft will provide transport support. According to the Indian Air Force, the exercise will be conducted from March 6 to 27 in Waddington, UK. Five Tejas fighter jets will participate in it and the C-17 aircraft will provide transport support. In fact, an official statement said that this LCA will be a platform for Tejas to showcase its mobility and operational capability. The objective of the exercise is to provide operational and best practices among the participating Air Forces, thereby enhancing combat capability and strengthening bonds of friendship. Tejas, a light combat aircraft of the IAF, will participate in the exercise along with fighter jets from the UK and other major air forces. Five Tejas aircraft will soon fly to the United Kingdom. The C-17 aircraft of the Indian Air Force will provide transport support. The indigenous aircraft recently participated in the 'Singapore Air Show-2022' held from 15 to 18 February 2022. Earlier this year, the contract to manufacture 83 Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas fighter jets was awarded to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) by the Defense Ministry at the Aero India International Air Show.
