Renowned yoga guru Baba Ramdev visited Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib today, where he paid his respects and donated Rs 1 crore to the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) for flood relief efforts in Punjab.

During his visit, he met SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami and praised the resilience of Punjab’s people in facing recent adversities.

Calling the donation a humble offering, he expressed confidence in Punjab’s ability to recover from the recent floods, which caused significant losses to lives, crops and livestock.

Dhami also invited Ramdev to participate in the 350th martyrdom anniversary celebrations of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib, scheduled for November 23–25 at Sri Anandpur Sahib. Ramdev accepted the invitation, assuring his presence at the event.

Ramdev lauded the SGPC’s relief efforts and expressed readiness to provide further assistance if needed. He also underscored the sacrifices of Sikh Gurus, stating that their contributions were vital in preserving both the Hindu faith and India’s independence.
