BIG CRACKDOWN: Bihar STF Arrests 115 Most Wanted Criminals, 13 Naxals in April

Patna: In a major blow to organized crime, the Special Task Force (STF) of Bihar Police has arrested 115 most wanted criminals, including 18 with rewards on their heads, in April. Additionally, 13 Naxals were also apprehended during the same period.
The arrested criminals include one with a reward of ₹2 lakh, three with rewards of ₹1 lakh each, three with rewards of ₹50,000 each, and 11 with rewards of ₹25,000 each. The STF also recovered five AK-47 rifles looted from police, seven regular firearms, and 37 country-made firearms during the operations.
Notable arrests include Vikas alias John Right, carrying a ₹2 lakh reward, from Vaishali's Rajapakar, and Subhash Kumar Mahato, carrying a ₹1 lakh reward, from Jamui's Kakna.
The STF also arrested notorious arms smuggler Kishan Singh, who was involved in supplying firearms to criminals and Naxals. Four other accused were arrested based on his information, and a Glock pistol, a revolver, and a rifle were recovered from them.
In another operation, the STF arrested Mukesh Rai and Arjun Rai, both wanted in several cases, along with other accomplices, in Mokama's Diara area. A rifle looted from police and ammunition were recovered from them.
The arrests also include several Naxals, including Kailu Yadav from Gaya's Wazirganj, Lala Sharma from Aurangabad's Goh, Rupesh Paswan from Gaya's Imamganj, and Parikshaji from Gaya's Chakkarbandha police station area.
The crackdown is seen as a major success for the Bihar Police, who have been working tirelessly to combat crime in the state.
