Bihar Becomes First State to Send Investigation Team to Another State After Worker Deaths

The Bihar government has taken seriously the case of the death of two workers from Bihar and injury of 16 workers in an explosion in a chemical factory located in the industrial area of ​​​​Sangareddy district of Telangana. An investigation team formed by the Bihar government will soon be sent to Telangana. This investigation team will investigate the chemical factory where two workers from Bihar died in the explosion.

Bihar Labor Resources Minister Santosh Kumar Singh said in a press conference held on Tuesday that this is the first time that after the death of Bihari workers in an accident in a state's factory, the investigation team of the Bihar government will go to the spot and investigate the incident. Experts will be included in this investigation team. Mr. Singh said that we will ensure in the investigation that no major negligence has been done by the factory in this accident. He also said that if any major negligence is found at the factory level, then the matter will be talked to the Telangana government as well as the Central Government. Secretary of Labor Resources Department Deepak Anand was also present in this press conference. Labor Resources Minister Santosh Singh said that after such an accident, for the first time the Bihar government is sending its team to another state of the country to investigate the incident. Let us tell you that the Bihar government has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to the dependents of the two workers who died in the chemical explosion and an assistance of Rs 50,000 each to the injured 16 workers. Departmental Secretary Deepak Anand said that the bodies of both the deceased are being brought to Patna this evening. From here, the Bihar government will make arrangements to send both the bodies to their native village.

Labor Resources Minister Santosh Kumar Singh on Tuesday congratulated Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on the approval of the Chief Minister Pratigya Yojana by the Cabinet. He said that Bihar is the first state in the country where youth are being encouraged in this way for employment. Due to lack of work experience, the youth of Bihar face a lot of difficulties in getting jobs in other states of the country. He said that in the next five years, a total of one lakh, 5 thousand youth of the state will be linked to the internship scheme. For this the government has made a provision of Rs 685 crore.
