Bihar Begins June 2025 Ration Distribution Under National Food Security Act

The distribution of ration for June 2025 has started among the beneficiaries covered under the National Food Security Act. They are being given its benefit since 22nd May. At the same time, the distribution of ration for May 2025 has been done by the pre-determined date of 20 May. Even after this, if any beneficiary has not yet received the ration for the month of May, then they can still get it.

The Food and Consumer Protection Department has made an announcement regarding this. The department has made this announcement after the information received from various information sources, in which it was revealed that some beneficiaries have not received the ration for the month of May by the prescribed date. Therefore, the department is again giving such beneficiaries a chance to get their ration.

Those beneficiaries who have not received the ration for May, 2025, can get the ration for the month of May after their biometric verification through e-POS for the first time at their nearest Public Distribution System vendor. Also, such beneficiaries will receive ration for the month of June, 2025 for the second time after their biometric verification through e-POS.

On the other hand, those beneficiaries who have received ration for May 2025 are being given ration for June, 2025 after biometric verification through e-POS from 22 May 2025. Therefore, people who have received ration for the month of May can now get ration for the month of June by going to their nearest Public Distribution System vendor.
