Bihar Cabinet Approves "Bhamashah Samman" to Honor Highest Taxpayers, Businessmen

Taxpayers and businessmen who pay the highest tax in the state will be honored with the Bihar Government "Bhamashah Samman". The state cabinet has approved this proposal of the Commercial Tax Department.

Additional Chief Secretary of the Cabinet Secretariat Department S Siddharth said that the objective of this scheme is to motivate other businessmen and taxpayers to pay maximum tax. He said that on the basis of the criteria prescribed under the Samman Yojana, selected taxpayers and businessmen under the Bihar Value Added Tax Act, 2005 and Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 will be awarded the Bhamashah Samman. Under which a citation and cash prize will be given as a reward.
