Bihar Civil Service Officers Donate 207 Blood Units on World Blood Donation Day

On World Blood Donation Day, a total of 207 people voluntarily donated blood in a blood donation camp organized by IAS, IPS and IFS officers of Bihar cadre and their families on Saturday and expressed their resolve to serve the suffering humanity. This blood donation camp was organized under the joint aegis of Bihar IAS Association, Bihar IPS Association and Bihar IFS Association. A total of 207 units of blood were collected from this blood donation camp and handed over to the hospitals, so that sick people can be given a new life again with this blood.

This blood donation camp was jointly inaugurated by Bihar Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena, Bihar Director General of Police Vinay Kumar, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Prabhat Kumar Gupta and former Chief Secretary of the state VS Dubey. On this occasion, Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena said that blood donation is the greatest donation. Someone's life can be saved with the blood donated by you. By donating blood, we can truly serve the suffering humanity. IAS Wives Association, IPS Wives Association and IFS Wives Association have also contributed in organizing this blood donation camp.

Let us tell you that every year 14th June is celebrated as World Blood Donation Day. This day is dedicated to those voluntary and unpaid blood donors who save the lives of countless people through their blood donation. This is not only an occasion to express gratitude towards humanity but also a time to highlight the continued need for safe and regular blood donation.
