Bihar DGP Warns of Action Against Lax Officers in Crime Control Workshop

On 26.05.2025, while addressing the second session of the workshop to sensitize the officers of the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police / Deputy Superintendent of Police by the Crime Investigation Department, Director General of Police, Bihar, Shri Vinay Kumar said that at present, manpower, vehicles and all other necessary resources have been provided to Bihar Police. In such a situation, now all the regional police officers should be fully alert and active and put a complete curb on crime, get quick trial in serious cases and get the criminals punished as soon as possible.

Giving strict instructions, he said that the officers who are lax are being identified. Action will be taken against such officers and those who are negligent in crime control will not be tolerated at any level. On this occasion, Additional Director General of Police, Crime Investigation Department, Shri Parasnath and Inspector General of Police, Crime Investigation Department, Shri Daljit Singh were also present with dignity.
