Bihar Labor Minister Honors Officers, Distributes Laptops at Department Review Meet

An important review meeting was organized today by the Directorate, Planning and Training (Niyojana) under the Labor Resources Department, Government of Bihar, which was chaired by the Honorable Minister of the Department, Shri Santosh Kumar Singh. All the Regional Planning Officers, District Planning Officers and related officers of the department were present in this meeting.

During the meeting, various programs run by the Directorate, Planning and Training (Niyojana) including Employment Fair, Employment Camp, Career Information Center (CIC), Study Kit Scheme, Tool Kit Distribution were reviewed in detail. On the said occasion, all the officials were directed by the Minister to work with clear target setting for the successful operation of the schemes. He said that the effectiveness of the implementation of these schemes should be visible at the ground level.

During the meeting, officers who performed excellently in the implementation of schemes in the financial year 2024-25 were also honored. Assistant Director of Saharsa, Bharat Ji Ram was awarded a certificate for excellent work in the Study Kit Scheme, while District Planning Officer of Supaul, Ankita Kumari was honored for excellent performance in the CIC program. Apart from this, Minister Santosh Kumar Singh also distributed departmental laptops among the officers present for smooth and successful operation of the schemes, so that technical work could be speeded up. The Minister said on this occasion that it is the effort of the government that information about employment schemes reaches every youth and better employment opportunities can be made available to them.
