Bihar Revenue Department Trains Panchayat Secretaries and Zonal Amins to Handle Work During Employee Strike

In order to ensure that the revenue related work of the common people is not affected during the strike of revenue employees, the Revenue and Land Reforms Department on Monday provided training to the Zonal Amins and Panchayat Secretaries on the work to be done by the revenue employees in online mode from the departmental video conference room. It was chaired by Secretary Jai Singh. In this training session, all the Zonal Amins and Panchayat Secretaries were present under the leadership of Additional District Magistrate (Revenue) of all the 38 districts of the state.

Secretary Shri Jai Singh started it by first inquiring about the presence of Amins and Panchayat Secretaries from all the Additional District Magistrates (Revenue). During this, information about adequate presence was received from all the districts. After this, Secretary Shri Singh said that today this information is being given on how to work. After working by yourself, more understanding will increase. He instructed all the Additional District Magistrates (Revenue) that first of all, the concerned Zonal Amin and Panchayat Secretary will be given charge and their ID will be created by allocating Halka. It will be approved by the concerned Zonal Officer.

The secretary also directed all the additional district magistrates to organize zonal training programs for all Amins and Panchayat Secretaries through the Zonal Officers in their districts.

After this, IT Manager Anand Shankar presented a presentation and explained the method of working on the Biharbhumi portal. All the trainees were told that all the work of the department is online. During this, everyone was informed about the entire process in detail. They were also told that the most important work of the department is mutation and correction. Everyone was also made aware of the detailed process of both the above works and the technical nuances of mutation and correction. They were also told that in case of any kind of problem, they can take help from the Zonal Officer, Zonal Inspector, Data Entry Operator and Executive Assistant.

The secretary told the ADMs of the districts that applications should be taken from such retired revenue employees who are willing and eligible to work through contract and help should be taken from them in revenue related works. Also, action should be ensured by issuing show cause notices to all revenue employees who went on strike through the zonal officers.

During this, Special Secretary Mr. Arun Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary Mr. Anil Kumar Pandey and many other officers and employees were present.
