Bihar's Mahila Samvad Program Reaches Day 33 with Massive Women's Participation

On the 33rd day of Mahila Samvad program, it was organized in an enthusiastic manner in all 534 blocks across the state today. So far, this program is being organized successfully in two shifts per day at more than 37 thousand places. The thronging crowd of women to participate in it is an indication that this program is succeeding in fulfilling its objective.
In the same sequence, the Honorable Minister of Rural Development Department, Shri Shravan Kumar ji participated in the Mahila Samvad program organized in Subhanpur under Barbigha block of Sheikhpura district today and interacted with hundreds of women present on various works and schemes being done by the Bihar government for women empowerment.
During this, he said that the Bihar government has given permission to establish a cooperative bank for Jeevika Didis. Now Jeevika Didi will be able to operate it as well as take loans and deposit-withdraw money easily. Didi's kitchen and canteen are being established in the premises of Sadar and Sub-divisional Hospital to block offices of every district. Along with this, the government is now giving the stitching of uniforms for all government schools up to 10th and 12th to Jeevika Didis.
The honorable minister said in his address, "Without the cooperation of women, any kind of change in any society cannot be complete. With this objective, the Bihar government is ready for the overall empowerment of women and along with education, women are also moving forward by taking advantage of reservation in jobs. He said, "In the field of education, the government is supporting through various schemes from Anganwadi to graduation. Through the arrangement of mid-day meals in schools, Chief Minister's Girl's Dress Scheme, Chief Minister's Girl's Cycle Scheme, Chief Minister's Merit Scholarship Scheme, Kanya Utthan Scheme, girls are being provided the opportunity to study. All the old Panchayat level high schools have now been made 10+2 high schools. Today, thanks to all these schemes, girls are studying, taking competitive exams and serving as police, BDO and teacher and other posts "
During this program, after completing her studies by taking advantage of the Chief Minister's Medhavriti Yojana of the Bihar Government, Preeti Kumari of the village has been selected in Bihar Police by taking advantage of reservation, who will provide her service to the state from next month.
