Bill Gates to Meet Andhra Pradesh CM Naidu Today, Discuss Healthcare and Agriculture Collaboration

Bill Gates, founder-chairman of the Gates Foundation, is scheduled to visit Andhra Pradesh today. He will be accompanied by a six-member delegation from the foundation.
The visit will focus on strengthening ongoing collaborations between the state government and the Gates Foundation across key development sectors.
Gates will meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the State Secretariat in Amaravati. During the meeting, discussions are expected to focus on expanding collaborations in education, healthcare, and agriculture.
Chief Minister Naidu will present the state's Swarna Andhra Vision 2047, outlining the long-term development roadmap for the state. He will also detail key initiatives under the Sanjeevani project, which is being implemented with the Gates Foundation's support.
Gates is slated to visit the Real-Time Governance Centre (RTGS), which monitors and coordinates government services across the state in real-time.
Later, Gates and the Chief Minister will visit an agricultural farm near Undavalli village in Amaravati, likely to observe innovative farming practices and discuss agricultural development initiatives.
The Gates Foundation has been working with Andhra Pradesh on various health and development initiatives. The Sanjeevani project, a key healthcare initiative, represents one of the major collaborative efforts between the state government and the foundation.
The visit underscores the foundation's continued engagement with Indian states on public health, education, and agricultural transformation programs.
