CM Nitish Kumar Distributes Appointment Letters to 6,837 Newly Appointed Engineers and Instructors

Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar today attended the appointment letter distribution ceremony of 6,837 newly appointed junior engineers and instructors. In this appointment letter distribution ceremony organized at 'Samvad' located in the Chief Minister's Secretariat, the Chief Minister symbolically gave appointment letters to 10 newly appointed candidates. Through the appointment letter distribution ceremony, appointment letters were given to 6,341 newly appointed junior engineers under various departments and 496 instructors under the Labor Resources Department today.
Principal Secretary of Water Resources Department Shri Santosh Kumar Malla felicitated the Chief Minister by presenting a flower bouquet to him.
Addressing the appointment letter distribution ceremony, the Chief Minister said that it is a matter of great happiness that today through this appointment letter distribution ceremony, appointment letters are being given to 6,837 newly appointed junior engineers and instructors selected by various departments. Among the newly appointed 6,341 junior engineers, appointment letters are being provided to 2,338 candidates newly selected by the Water Resources Department, 1273 candidates newly selected under the Planning and Development Department, 759 candidates newly selected under the Rural Works Department, 530 candidates newly selected by the Road Construction Department, 484 candidates newly selected under the Minor Water Resources Department, 478 candidates newly selected under the Public Health Engineering Department, 430 candidates newly selected under the Building Construction Department and 49 candidates newly selected through the Urban Development and Housing Department. I thank all those departments through which all of you candidates have been selected.
The Chief Minister said that again we are visiting all the districts of Bihar and are becoming aware of the problems and needs there. The problems or needs that we are getting information about will be resolved as soon as possible. Large scale recruitment will also be done. For this, vacant posts in the departments are being identified. Before the year 2005, the condition of Bihar was very pathetic, which all of you are well aware of. We have been engaged in taking Bihar forward from the very beginning. We are also getting full support from the central government. I will expect from all the newly appointed candidates that you will discharge your responsibilities properly. I once again congratulate and wish all the newly appointed candidates.
In the appointment letter distribution ceremony, Principal Secretary of Water Resources Department, Mr. Santosh Kumar Mall gave the welcome address while Secretary of Labor Resources Department, Mr. Deepak Anand gave the vote of thanks.
