CM Nitish Kumar Inaugurates ₹438.51 Cr Development Projects in Munger During Pragati Yatra

Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar today inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of a total of 160 developmental schemes worth Rs 438.51 crore in Chadaun village of Sadar block of Munger district through remote in the fourth phase of Pragati Yatra. This includes the inauguration of 73 schemes worth Rs 148.40 crore and the foundation stone laying of 87 schemes worth Rs 290.12 crore.

Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar today took stock of various developmental works in Tarapur block of Munger district. During this, he inspected the Middle School, Adarsh Anganwadi Center and Jeevika Library in Rangaon. During this, the Chief Minister took information about the arrangements there and talked to the children and encouraged them. The Chief Minister inspected the pond built there under the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan. The Chief Minister also provided symbolic cheques to the beneficiaries of schemes of various departments there.

After this, the Chief Minister inspected the proposed ring road (Tarapur bypass path) in Vanshipur village of Tarapur block. During this, the officials gave detailed information to the Chief Minister about its construction work. The total length of this path will be 7 km. This proposed path will go 18 km east of Sultanganj-Tarapur-Belhar (State Highway-22) and parallel to the canal through canal path and private land to Mohanganj and again from Mohanganj through the path of Rural Works Department, beyond Tarapur Chowk, 22 km of Sultanganj-Tarapur path near Bihma Bazaar. The construction of this bypass will provide relief from the problem of traffic jam near Tarapur Chowk.

After this, the Chief Minister reached Rishikund tourist spot in Haveli Kharagpur block and after visiting there, took detailed information from the officials about it. The officials gave detailed information to the Chief Minister about the outline of development of Rishikund tourist spot through a presentation. During this, the officials told the Chief Minister that tourists always visit Rishikund, a picturesque place of hot water stream in the middle of the mountain ranges in Munger district. Every three years, Malmas fair is organized here in the month of July-August. Where devotees from different areas come to enjoy the hot water stream and visit the Tapobhoomi. During this, the Chief Minister said that this place is very important from the tourist point of view. Work by making a plan for the all-round development of Rishikund. The Chief Minister said that make this Rishikund deeper so that maximum water can be stored in it so that people can have the convenience of bathing. Make Rishikund much better so that tourists can come here and enjoy it. On this occasion, a large number of Jeevika Didi present there welcomed the Chief Minister by chanting Jaikara, the Chief Minister also accepted their greetings by waving his hand. After this, the Chief Minister visited the High School Campus, Nauwagarhi and inaugurated the sports ground constructed at a cost of Rs 47.14 lakh in the High School Campus. The Chief Minister interacted with the players present there and encouraged them. The Chief Minister also flew a balloon there. Along with this, the Chief Minister also inspected the Higher Secondary School, Nauwagarhi. During this, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Astronomy Laboratory by cutting the ribbon and unveiling the plaque and also inspected the laboratory. During the inspection, a student put forth her views before the Chief Minister regarding the nuances of astronomy and telescope.

After this, in Chadaun village of Sadar block, the Chief Minister inspected various departmental stalls related to the development of the district and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various schemes through remote. The Chief Minister inspected the stalls of the Industries Department, Health Department, Rural Development Department, Agriculture Department, Animal and Fisheries Resources Department, Labor Resources Department, Social Welfare Department and Education Department etc. During this, he presented symbolic cheques to the beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana, Startup Yojana, Student Credit Card Yojana and District Gavya Vikas Yojana. He presented symbolic cheques of Rs. 1 crore to 90 entrepreneurs under Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana and Rs. 80 lakh to 80 entrepreneurs of Bihar Laghu Udyami Yojana. Along with this, the Chief Minister presented symbolic cheques to the beneficiaries of Vimukta Bal Shramik Yojana, Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana, Inter-caste Marriage Promotion Scheme, Samagra Gavya Vikas Yojana, Plateau Area Pond Development Scheme. The Chief Minister also distributed Basgeet pamphlets.

After this, the Chief Minister inspected the Nauwagarhi Panchayat Government Building and inquired about the arrangements there. The Chief Minister said that the Panchayat Government Building has been built well. With its construction, all the problems of the people will be solved at one place and they will get convenience.

After this, the Chief Minister inaugurated the newly built 100-bed model hospital at a cost of Rs 32.17 crore in Munger Sadar Hospital premises by unveiling the plaque and cutting the ribbon. After the inauguration, the Chief Minister took stock of various parts of the newly built model hospital and inquired about the arrangements there. The Chief Minister said that this hospital has been built very well, the people here will get more convenience in treatment.

After this, the Chief Minister inaugurated the beautified Rajarani pond located at the district headquarters by unveiling the plaque. During the inspection of the pond, the Chief Minister said that it has been built very well. Extend the stairs of the pond till the bottom. Also keep it clean and maintained.
