DPS Patna Duo Tops National Crossword Championship for Second Straight Round

The mind maze of words is alive and kicking once again with Cryptic Crossword Contest CCCC 13.0! Leading the charge in the first online round held nationwide is the dynamic duo from Delhi Public School, Patna—Nanya Dev Singh and Tanmay Kashyap.They have clinched the National Rank 1 in an electrifying start to this year’s edition.
This victory marks a remarkable second consecutive triumph for Nanya and Tanmay, who had also emerged as winners in the Practice Round of the contest held last month. The pair has demonstrated consistency, composure, and cryptic brilliance, setting a formidable pace in this cerebral championship.
But hot on their heels are familiar rivals. Anhad Kaur and Divya Dhiman of BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana, the defending champions of CCCC, have once again proven their mettle by securing the National Rank 2 in this round. Interestingly, this Ludhiana-based team was also first runner-up in the Practice Round, showing dogged determination to reclaim the top spot and retain their crown.
Securing the National Rank 3 is the talented team of Anjali Nanduri and Aradhya Ranjith from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Public School, Hyderabad, who have entered the leaderboard with flair and promise, adding more excitement to the unfolding battle of brains.
