DTU Crossword Contest 2026 Draws Enthusiastic Student Participation Despite Heavy Rain

The DTU Crossword Contest 2026 was successfully held on January 23, 2026, at the campus of Delhi Technological University (DTU), witnessing enthusiastic participation from students across Delhi. Demonstrating remarkable dedication and love for wordplay, students turned up in large numbers despite heavy rainfall, making the event a resounding success.
The contest was organized under the able guidance of Prof. Prateek Sharma, Honorable Vice Chancellor, DTU, and Prof. S. Indu, Dean, Digital Education, DTU. The initiative for the event was taken by Prof. Ramesh Agrawal, School of Computer and System Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), reflecting a strong spirit of academic collaboration.
The seamless coordination of the contest was handled by Dr. Trasha Gupta, Assistant Professor, Department of Applied Mathematics, DTU. The event saw registrations from 60 students representing various institutions across Delhi. The contest itself was conducted by Vinayak Ekbote, whose engaging and professional conduct added to the excitement of the competition.
The event was supported by Beltron and Central Bank of India.
After an intense and intellectually stimulating contest, the winners were announced as follows:

• Second Prize: Satyam Tiwari, DTU
• Third Prize: Aadishri Kher, DTU
