Free Medical Camp Organized at Dr. Ambedkar Kalyan Hostel in Nawada

A free medical camp was organized at Dr. Ambedkar Kalyan Hostel No. 01, Nawada, run by the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department. This camp was led by a team of senior doctors, in which the health of the students residing there was examined and necessary medical advice was provided.

As per the instructions of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department, such medical camps are organized regularly in all the 118 Dr. Ambedkar Kalyan hostels operating across the state. The main objective of these camps is to provide a healthy and favorable environment to the students residing in the hostel, to strengthen their physical and mental health so that there is no hindrance in their academic development.

On this occasion, the team of doctors gave important information to the students related to health, hygiene, nutrition, mental stress management and prevention of infectious diseases. Along with this, health check-up of the students present, distribution of necessary medicines and advice were also provided.

The officers present on the occasion informed that such camps are organised regularly in Dr. Ambedkar Kalyan hostels across the state, so that the students can get better health facilities along with education and they can move forward towards their goals by remaining completely healthy.
