‘Good People Should Enter Politics’: Pankaj Tripathi Engages Students at Delhi University Literary Fest

Good people should enter politics. However, there are already good people in it. As far as I am concerned, I have not yet thought about entering politics,” said Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi during an interactive session on the second day of a three-day Literary Festival organized by University of Delhi.

The actor, who is himself an alumnus of the National School of Drama in Delhi, addressed students of Delhi University, saying that in life, when there is no bridge to cross a river, one must learn to swim and cross it independently.

Mr. Tripathi emphasized that while chance plays a role in success, it still demands consistent effort. He described dedication as an essential element of achievement and added that even those perceived as bad possess certain redeeming qualities.

A large number of students from various colleges are participating in the Literary Festival organized by the University of Delhi. The festival also features a book exhibition and cultural programmes. Eminent personalities from the fields of literature, cinema, art and journalism have been invited to the event.

The interactive session on the second day was moderated by Professor Shantanu and Professor Sudha Singh. The festival is being held from February 12 to 14. On this occasion, the Department of Journalism of the University of Delhi has also published a festival newsletter.
