Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar Releases Book on Hindi Children’s Poetry Traditions

Governor Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar released a book titled "Traditions of Hindi Children's Poetry" at Lok Bhavan today. On this occasion, the Governor learned about the book's contents and congratulated and wished its author, Dr. Aman Kumar, for this important research work. Dr. Aman Kumar explained that literature, especially poetry, plays a vital role in the overall development of children. Children's poetry not only develops children's language abilities and communication skills, but also helps in inculcating moral values ​​and values ​​in them.

This book is written with the development of children's communication systems and education through poetry as its central focus. This work, based primarily on research, explains in detail how poems written for children contribute to their mental development and strengthen the ability to establish social communication in children between the ages of two and six. This is probably the first research on children's poetry. He said that he has been a student of mass communication and has had a special interest for years in establishing communication through children's poetry and inculcating good values ​​in children. This book is the result of this interest and research. Aman Kumar works as a channel operations specialist in Doordarshan Jharkhand.
