NEP Orientation & Sensitization Program Held at Satyam College of Education

The Centre for Professional Development in Higher Education (CPDHE), UGC-MMTTC at the University of Delhi successfully organized an eight-day NEP Orientation & Sensitization Program in collaboration with Satyam College of Education from February 17 to February 26, 2026.

The program aimed to deepen educators’ understanding of the transformative vision of the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) and its implications for higher education in India.

The valedictory session was graced by Prof. Geeta Singh, Director, CPDHE (UGC-MMTTC), University of Delhi; Dr. Sneh Singh, Chairperson, Satyam Group of Institutions; Dr. CA Pradeep Gupta, Secretary, Satyam Group of Institutions; Dr. Bineeta Agrawal, Convener (Principal), Satyam College of Education; Ms. Neha Aggarwal, Course Coordinator (HOD Academics, B.Ed., and HOD B.A., B.Com & B.Sc.); and Ms. Preeti Goel, Head Industry & IQAC Coordinator.

The dignitaries emphasized the importance of NEP 2020 in promoting innovation, inclusivity, academic excellence, and quality enhancement in higher education.

The program covered diverse themes aligned with NEP 2020, including Indian Knowledge System (IKS), holistic and multidisciplinary education, academic leadership and governance, inclusive education, institutional autonomy, research and development, ICT integration, skill development, and curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment reforms.

Resource persons from reputed institutions delivered expert lectures and conducted interactive discussions, case studies, and reflective sessions. The program focused on experiential learning and collaborative dialogue, equipping participants with practical strategies for effective institutional implementation of NEP reforms.

The inaugural session was held on February 17, and the valedictory session concluded with participants expressing appreciation for the comprehensive orientation. They noted that the program significantly enriched their academic perspectives and strengthened their commitment to implementing NEP 2020 in both letter and spirit.

The initiative marks a significant step toward capacity building and academic transformation in higher education.
