Nine prominent schools across Delhi received bomb threats via email on Monday morning, prompting immediate evacuations of campuses to ensure student and staff safety. The sender identified himself as a member of the Khalistan National Army.
Security agencies are investigating all schools and tracing the source of the threatening communications.
Threat Details
According to media reports, the threatening emails were sent between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. The message stated: "Delhi will become Khalistan. A bomb blast will take place today in memory of martyr Afzal Guru. There will be a blast in schools today at 1:11 PM, and a blast in Parliament on February 13th at 1:11 PM."
The reference to Afzal Guru is significant as February 9 marks the anniversary of his execution in 2013 for his role in the 2001 Parliament attack.
