NTA confirms CUET UG 2025 results will be announced on July 4

The National Testing Agency (NTA) confirmed on Tuesday that the results for the CUET UG 2025 exam will be announced on July 4. This exam is a crucial gateway for students seeking admission to central universities and many other participating institutions across India.
Students can check their results on the official website—exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG—by entering their application number and date of birth.
This year, the CUET UG exam took place between May 15 and May 24, 2025, using a hybrid format: some papers were held online (computer-based test), while others were conducted on paper. The exam was held at multiple centers both across India and abroad.
Over 13.4 lakh candidates registered for the exam, making it one of the largest undergraduate entrance tests in the country.
The exam was offered in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, and Assamese.
Once the results are out, students’ scorecards will be used for admission into undergraduate programs at more than 250 universities, including all central universities like Delhi University, BHU, JNU, and Jamia Millia Islamia, as well as several state, deemed, and private universities.
To guarantee fair comparison across various sessions, the NTA has finished the normalisation process for subjects conducted in multiple shifts.
Universities will publish their cut-off scores and counselling schedules—which differ depending on the institution—after the results are announced.
On July 1, 2025, the NTA also released the final answer key after reviewing students’ objections. Based on feedback, 27 questions were dropped from the final version.
The agency has made it clear that there will be no re-evaluation or rechecking requests accepted, as the results have been processed through standardized procedures with thorough checks in place.
