Pakistani Intruder Shot Dead Near Banaskantha District in Gujarat: BSF

On Friday night, the Border Security Force (BSF) shot and killed a suspected Pakistani intruder who crossed into India near Banaskantha in Gujarat.

The BSF said their troops spotted the man as he neared the border fence after crossing over. He ignored their warnings and kept moving forward, when they asked him to stop. That’s when the BSF opened fire and stopped him right there.

At this point, not much is known about who the intruder was or why he tried to cross the border. The investigation is still ongoing.

Banaskantha is a sensitive spot along the India-Pakistan border, so the BSF has been keeping a close watch. They’ve stepped up patrols and surveillance to make sure nothing like this happens again.
