Patna Gets Three Historic Infrastructure Projects in Single Month Under Nitish Kumar

The Bihar government under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is giving priority to the development of the state and the construction of modern infrastructure. In June alone, the capital Patna has received three historic projects. These projects are not only going to strengthen the traffic and connectivity system, but also reflect the farsighted thinking and commitment of the state government. Approval to connect Raghopur with a new bridge over the Ganga, inauguration of Mithapur-Mahuli four-lane road and Patna's first double-decker flyover - these three projects will work to give social and economic impetus to the capital as well as the entire state in the coming times.
Raghopur Diara gets a direct route to the capital
23 June became a historic day for Bihar, when Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the bridge connecting Raghopur to NH-31 in the first phase of the Kacchi Dargah-Bidupur six-lane project. This bridge has come as a boon for the people of Raghopur, who have been connected to the capital for years by boats. Loss of connectivity during monsoon, lack of access to health and education services and employment opportunities will now be a thing of the past. This bridge has not only established direct and accessible connectivity between Patna, Hajipur and villages of the Diara region, but this region is now connected to the mainstream development of the state.
Mithapur-Mahuli four-lane: Patna gets southern option
With the aim of reducing traffic pressure in Patna and better connecting the southern areas to the capital, the Mithapur-Mahuli-Punpun four-lane project, constructed at a cost of Rs 1400 crore, has been started. This elevated-cum-atgrade road inaugurated by the Chief Minister runs from Bhupatipur to Punpun (NH-22), which has brought relief to lakhs of residents of South Patna. It has not only provided an alternative route, but will also reduce traffic pressure on the old bypass to a great extent. This road will lay the foundation for new opportunities for urbanization, trade, and investment in South Patna in the future.
Patna gets its first double-decker flyover
On June 11, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the state's first double-decker flyover on Ashoka Rajpath in Patna. Built at a cost of Rs 422 crore, this road extends from Science College to Kargil Chowk via PMCH. Its biggest benefit has been received by areas like Patna University, Pirbahor, Civil Court, BN College, Khazanchi Road, Makhaniyan Kuan, and Mahendru, where traffic has now become much smoother. Students, patients and business class are especially benefiting from this.
These three projects prove that Bihar no longer just makes plans, but also implements them on the ground within the stipulated time
